Overview

The Play2Play app is free to download and use. Play2Play+ is a separate paid membership, it is not included with your account, and it is available now. It is sold as an auto-renewing subscription, and the price and billing period are always shown to you before you confirm. Play2Play+ is no longer included with every account at no charge. Accounts that were granted it during our free early access period keep that access until it ends, with nothing charged and nothing to cancel. This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for paid subscriptions. You are never charged without confirming a purchase.

In-App Purchases (iOS)

Play2Play+ is sold in the Play2Play iOS app through Apple's in-app purchase system, as an auto-renewing subscription. Apple processes the payment, and the price, billing period, and renewal terms are shown in the app before you confirm. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends; cancel any time in Settings > your Apple ID > Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Apple, not Play2Play, controls refunds for App Store purchases: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the charge, and select Request a Refund. Apple's refund decisions are final, and we cannot issue or reverse an App Store charge ourselves. If you are under 18, make purchases only with the permission of a parent or guardian; a purchase made under Apple's Ask to Buy needs their approval before it completes.

Website Purchases (play2play.co)

Play2Play+ is not currently sold on our website. It is purchased in the Play2Play iOS app, and the section above governs it. Any paid Play2Play+ membership we offer on our website in future is processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor, and the billing and refund terms in this section apply to those website purchases only. If offered, Play2Play+ is available as a monthly or annual subscription billed to the payment method on file. The price and billing period are shown to you before you confirm, and the price shown at that moment is the price you pay. There is no free trial; billing begins at purchase.

Auto-Renewal and Cancellation (website)

Website subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, you keep access until then, and no partial refunds are issued for unused time. Cancelling prevents future charges but does not by itself refund the current period.

Refund Eligibility (website)

Monthly fees are generally non-refundable once charged, except: a technical error on our end double-charged you; you were charged after cancelling and can show it; or a verified outage blocked access for more than 72 consecutive hours during your paid period. For annual plans, request a refund within 30 days of the charge for a full refund, provided the service was not used extensively; after 30 days annual fees are non-refundable except in the monthly circumstances above. We may issue pro-rated refunds at our discretion in exceptional cases. We do not refund charges you forgot to cancel before renewal, periods you simply did not use (absent a verified technical error on our end), or annual fees after 30 days except as noted.

How to Request a Refund

For website (Stripe) purchases, email support@play2play.co with the subject line Refund Request and include the email on your account, the date and amount of the charge, and the reason. We aim to respond within 3 business days; approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. For any App Store purchase, use Apple's process above; Apple, not Play2Play, issues those refunds.

European Union and United Kingdom Users

If you are in the EU or UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a digital service contract without giving a reason. By starting a paid subscription and using its features, you consent to the service beginning before the 14-day period ends and acknowledge your withdrawal right may be lost once the service is substantially used. If you have not used the service, you keep the full 14-day right. How you exercise it depends on where you bought. For a subscription purchased in the iOS app, Apple is the seller and holds the payment, so we cannot issue or reverse that charge whatever we decide — make the request to Apple within 14 days at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple's support channels. We can still help, and you should ask us to: email support@play2play.co and we will confirm your purchase and cancellation dates in writing for your claim, make sure the subscription is not set to renew, and take up with Apple anything they get wrong. For a subscription purchased on our website, email support@play2play.co within 14 days and we handle it directly through Stripe.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or Apple. If you initiate a chargeback instead of contacting us, your account may be suspended pending investigation, and if the chargeback is ruled in our favor you remain responsible for the original charge.

Changes to Pricing and This Policy

We may change prices or update this policy. When we do, we post the revised version on this page with a new effective date, and that posted version is the authoritative one — please check it before you renew. We do not operate a marketing mailing list or an in-app announcement feed, so we do not promise to contact you individually in advance of every change. Two protections apply regardless: a change never applies retroactively, so a period you have already paid for stays governed by the terms in effect when you were charged and any price change takes effect no earlier than your next renewal; and for App Store subscriptions Apple notifies you of a price increase directly and, depending on the size of the increase, either asks you to agree or stops the renewal — that is Apple’s process, it runs whatever this policy says, and it is your practical safeguard against an unexpected charge.
